    Stanthorpe - Sundown National Park.

Thought i would start the QLD trips and treks off as we must be lazy up here

I have to say my favourite spot to go is in the Sundown National Park in Stanthorpe.

It's a great spot to forget life for a bit. Very bushy and theres a few caravan parks that only 4wd's can get access to so they stay pretty quiet at times which is great.

They call it the Granite Belt Wine Country for good reasons.

Great wine, spectacular granite rock formations in the area and so much wildlife. There's a lot of birds in the area so if your one of those crazy bird stalkers then this would be paradise for you.

It's about 3.5 hours south west of Brizzy and well worth every minute.

I'll have to hunt around for the old family photos but i just stole some from the net so you can see the landscape....Great place!
