Has anyone experienced any issues such as unexpected wear and tear on there LS conversions? Im trying to decide whether or not to put a LS3 in my 03 GU, considering the donor vehicle...

Gryphon Engineering in Cairns do LS conversions. Had good experience with these gents. Ask for Graham and he should be able to sort you out.

Has anyone completed an LS3 conversion into a GU? If so, what is the fuel economy like?

Hey mate, The smoke from start up is black, double glowing gives me a similar result which involves at least 3-4 turnovers. Once it's started its pretty much alright once its warm.
