SCA - 10L drum.
I usually do that but they were out. I walked out empty handed in the end - didn't want to take the risk (and I'd left my bank card at home )
Haha, what you need is a good Minister of Propaganda to convince them otherwise.
I've been climbing indoors for around a year now. Gippsland is a bit of a climbing black hole it seems according to most guides so it's hard to get outdoors around here. Just means a trips further...
How'd you keep the cost down so low? Left over stuff from other projects?
Is the carpet expensive? What size ply are you using?
It's looking good by the way.
Really nice job. You may just have inspired me.
Pretty old looking winch. At least it was a quick fizz. Did the sound come from the switch or the winch itself?

Is it ok to mix two different types of oils? I usually use Magnatec but the store was all out. I've still got half a drum of Magnatec that I want to use so didn't want to switch brands all together...
Welcome to the forum mate. Some good knowledge floating round these parts!
Just want to throw in my 2 cents in saying thanks for this thread. I haven't had my Patrol long but plan to keep it for a long time. This thread will no doubt be key in making sure that happens!...
Thanks Rumcajs
I might take it to work and set it up on a test rig there. If I get some decent figures I'll post the results here.
I've introduced myself before when I was looking for a 4WD. Now I've finally got one I figured I'd do it once again.
I found and bought a 3.0L 2003 GU which was pretty much stock. It has a Nissan...
Thanks for the info.
My brother bought me an Arduino as a gift and I'm wanting to utilise it on my GU. Hence wanting to "reinvent the wheel". The ECUTalk software looks like a pretty sound...
Hi all,
I'm wanting to custom make a display panel for various things on my 3.0L. I've only just bought the vehicle and am pretty new to diesels, have an OK knowledge of engines, and have an...
Thanks heaps everyone... all the info. is great. I look at a Patrol in question the other night and the alternator clutch and another pulley (can't remember which one) were replaced a short while...
