You can get crimps (red, blue & yellow) with hot melt glue filled heat shrink sleeves that work quite well.
Raychem Eviro splices are great, a crimp sleeve then a heat shrink sleeve with hot melt...

Picked up a WiFi OBD2 scanner from Jaycar, got it for the boy Excel to find a U/S crank angle sensor.
Plugged it into the GU8 & it gives MAP, RPM, coolant temp, % load, MAF etc. all on my phone....
