Nice one TPC,
I've been fortunate enough to travel all over remote SA for the contractor I work for including the APY lands and Moomba gas fields which are both restricted access areas and not for...
Yeah I'm with you ET on this one, I tend to prefer night highway driving. I regularly commute 650km on a rural highway to a holiday shack in the summer time for my breaks. For me this is a far...
Hey Mate, I got caught out the same way! Hated the beep and thought it looked straight forward too. I ended up pulling it out carefully, scraped off the plastic coating from the copper carefully with...
I've given coopers a go twice, not gonna get me a third time. First lot had one peel like a retread at 110, was only 15k old and took out rear flare. 2nd lot had side walls break up and blow out...
Awesome feedback skitz! They seem to have some pretty good reviews and IMO, if I can get 40-50k out of a set I'd be laughing at half the price of the big names. I don't know too many people that are...
Hi Michael, old thread I know but interested on how the nitro grapplers performed when you had them? Looking at getting a set, have coopers at the moment but don't rate them. Did you have the 295s on...
Thanks for the link TD, I have the EGT port in ready to go, So I'll grab myself one of these, definitely will make it easier then what I had in mind.
Cheers!
Fitted the 3" exhaust today after work, unfortunately it was done in the driveway with a coupla work lights due to the troll being too tall for the shed out the back!
All good though, nice lil...
It certainly is a "patrol bug", it bites, and it bites hard! Enjoy your fourbie and the wealth of knowledge on here,

Nice! My exhaust/guages both rolled up yesterday. Ive fitted the exhaust, just the pod/guages to go. Any tips for installing the pod/guages?
Nice looking rig TD, hadn't seen pics of your rig yet but looks delicious!
Bought the troll a set of SAAS EGT/Boost guages with pillar pod today for upcoming Exhaust Install :)
Howdy mate,
I did a quick write up on how I ran my light bar to my roof the other week, no need for drilling holes or running in the snorkel.
IMO buy yourself a wiring harness for $35 and save...
100% agree, either try and pick up a second hand one on g-tree etc or just save that little bit longer and buy one new. You won't regret it.
Definitely sounds suss! I also noted yesterday on his ebay profile he has only (5) feedback, that to me throws warning lights straight off the bat when your selling a fairly expensive item interstate!
Yep that's the one! A smart choice by the manufacturer rather then making a specialist sized bearing that only they sell, they've actually thought about the practicality of it which is a nice change!
I ended up buying them from Kaymar, they were a bit dearer then buying online, but the service from them was excellent, and I'm a big one for supporting business that goes above/beyond.
Nicole who...
Replaced the bearings on me Kaymar Swing-away wheel carrier today! Well overdue - Been bugging me for ages!
I've only had my GU for about 4 months, and it wasn't until a recent off-road/camping tour that it sorta hit me. There's alot bolted onto my ol' girl and I am concerned about being over the GVM. I'll...
Haha!! I was thinking the same thing MR! It definitely is a steal!
Amazing pictures! Looks like you had an absolute ball! Thanks for sharing!
It looks a bit like a copy of the ARB deluxe bars, a mate bought something similar for around the same price on ebay and put it on his Prado.
They seem solid enough, and look good too.
The only...
An absolute bargain mate! I wouldn't even hesitate if everything checked out! If your concerned its too cheap, pay one of those car inspection mobs to go over it thoroughly, for around $200 its good...
Cheers for the write-up and pic's Westy, Has given me something to think about as this is something I'll have to tackle in the very near future,
Nice neat job too btw,
