Not so much. The battery drills have stuff all meat on the brushes. Can't find, let alone read any of the receipts from Bunnings to get replacements. The Reciprocating saw has no top speed anymore,...

IMHO, go for a known brand. A few years ago, a close relative of mine bought a couple of batteries online touted as being 130 AH. The batteries were woefully under capacity and did not last long....
I have a Harrop E locker. Got it from Patrolapart when I was in Melbourne.
Tell me who you get to fit the locker as mine is still in its box.
Oooh la la... Noice!!
Gotta say that the Dremel is an overpriced item, but geewhiz, they are a handy bit of kit.
When towing we got stung with that Adelaide hill at the bottom, with a long traffic jam. Our set of new, but bedded in Falcon front discs warped because of the uneven heat sinking. Bugga!
3000 amp through those cables and connectors. Apparently the laws of physics don't apply to advertising. But upon saying that, they are a good thing to have for emergency use.
Interesting this youtube vid popped up today, considering the recent topic. BB is watching:\

It will be interesting to see if the sharpener gives the bit a proper rake angle. I have seen "Sharpeners" that only give the proper chisel (the square point on top) and point angle (general...
Good call. Was taught how to do up to 1/2" as a young 'un. You either got the knack or don't. It seems I am losing the ability as my eyes aren't that good any more. I occasionally surprise myself and...
Watts =Volts by Amps so Amps equals Watt divided by volts. 3000 divided by Twelve = 250 amps. Seeing this is at best 95% efficient 3000 watts is 263 amps.
Peak Wattage 6000 watts is 526 amps. I...
It will make a great camper.
Couple of stub axles, a steering set up and you can go billy cart racing.
Happy days, Nic.
Finally scored a series 2 RB30 crankshaft. Got a few other goodies off the engine too. Now I can get the old engine rebuilt and it can be a spare.
Excellent choice, Cuppa. Look forward to seeing where it takes you.
Yep, pretty cheap and nasty. I got it secondhand and found it had been immersed and left wet. It is still going after I cleaned it out serviced it with boat trailer grease.
Some of the better...
I've had a bit of a search for stripping a Ridge Ryder, because I want to see how they are constructed. My Aldi winch will drag my Patrol across cement in 4 H, hubs locked, 5th gear and hand brake on...
I've gone completely off buying inferior lugs and now go to the local electrical wholesaler. The products are dear but of better quality and fit the crimpers properly.
Happy birthday, John.
The winch came with a wired controller as well.
They wireless remote has been perfect, especially since I use the winch to help with moving large fallen limbs and the like.
I think I will upgrade. The first stage of the gearing runs on aluminium teeth moulded into the casing. I have seen some of more expensive units have all steel gearing and stronger braking mechs. My...
Are they still selling them?
