That is a good reminder. I just attached the new clip. I haven't pulled the lid to see what went in first...
Routine inspection under the bonnet and I noticed an airbox lid clip was missing.
Ordered a few spares from patrolapart and feel better about crossing rivers now.
Something about that image has bothered me from the first look.
Couldn't quite place it though.
Then I saw it and now I can't unsee it :)

threedogs yes, rivnuts were used in the install. Good mate had just bought a kit so we did both vehicles at once.
Bit darker than I realised due to the bright sunshine on the second day of winter.

Picked up the strut today.
Installing tomorrow.
Cheers for the heads up.
I had heard about this. Looks useful for angled parking.
What was the length of the strut?
Opens the left side up a bit more.

I will put one up tomorrow morning. Bit dark right now.
Total time 5 minutes.
That's a Jamie Oliver 5 minutes. Doesn't include finding the grinder and socket.
Small job, big result. I finally did the barn door extension for the left side.
Installed the Redarc towpro elite v3 (the v2 was the recall)
Hope to pick up a camper trailer next week.
When good intentions backfire :(
Installed coil spring spacers in the rear to stop the back end drooping under full away team load.
I have TREDS from SCA and they are very strong. From all the reading I have done, they compare favourably with Maxtrax and are a lot cheaper.
Took it for a run along the Brunswick Challenge Track to test the new wiper rubbers I installed.

Great photos.
Yearning builds...
At least when people see me drive by, they know I use it for the purpose it was designed for. :driving2:
Scratched the body work on a track that mustn't have been used in 5 years. It's at the point where polishing achieves very little.
Dark blue which makes it harder to clean up after track scratches.
After what seems like an eternity, I got it dirty.

I have been putting off installing new rotors and pads on the front of my truck as it looked quite daunting. Was it straight forward?
Fabric trim.
Fantasy answer: I make the wife take off all her clothes before she gets back in the vehicle :)
Reality: Canvas seat covers.
Finally finished the winch install.
Wired up an in cab controller with isolator switch to the centre console.
