looked at the leaking drivers side hub .... again.
hahahaha, 4" lift ^^^ nice work.
found a bloody rattle that sounded like when you spin cleaned wheel bearing before you grease them. A stone, stuck in a hole, it was rounded off and smooth.
Also, was under the rear of the Trol on...
had a real bad grinding noise the other day, like when you clean out a wheel bearing, dry it out, don't add grease and spin it. no sticks stuck underneath. Slowed down and turned intoa parking spot....
Nice work, very neat.
How the fridge does a cam snap, surely that can only be shitty material can't it????????????????
bigger the gap the better, I only had about that much to play with.
I put a piece of bent ally chequer plate on the outside of my 2nd battery holder. Only had 1 90 degree bent bit, so I left about a 10mm gap between the end of the holder and plate up where the turbo...
hahahahaha, ^^^ you're a mad bastard :tease:
hahahaha, classic MB, did you pump it up in place???
I reckon it might be 12T plus trailer, aren't they 2000 litres per?????
maybe drop ya tyre pressures winnie???
you don't look bogged there mate, are you going up hill??????
Looks great mate. I saw how Tim Bates did his rear, yours is similar, nothing wrong with that. I use tubs in the rear of mine, but they're the KI TAB tubs, I use 2 x 60 litre ones. I reckon tubs are...
That's a clever idea, I'll store that away and hopefully remember it.
He Didn't Mean With Paper Eric.
holy crap, that'd be a bit hairy, well it sounds hairy. You'd want to get the vehicle dead square.
Yeah, that's not alot extra is it. Rear wheels only I'm guessing?????
hahaha, yeah, what's that bloody thing in the middle, it just looks so wrong.
Oh, OK. I've been wanting to look in behind them. Do they run into the cabin or remain outside of it?? I've been thinking of running diff breathers up there if possible.
Looks great Katwoman.
How do you get that grate thing off that rear edge of that back window in the 2nd pic???
took the patrol out for a drive today, nice & sunny, quiet roads. I must have gotten used to the old girl prior to covid coz I drive her now and think, gee this old thing is well put together....
Lotta rope there Phil, coupla spare head rests as well by the looks...
Nice. Does the sub tank sit as low as, or level with the sides, to the right & left of centre of the diff?
Very nice. Any chance of some pics? I've got a 145 litre ARB tank, one of the plastic ones, it's been pretty good. Been wondering about replacing the sub tank for a long time.
Trip sounds great,...
