Just heard back from the diesel tuner. Telling me it needs a light load advance adjustment, looking at a few hours of labor to pull the pump and get it on the test bench. Not a cheap ordeal.

Thanks guys, Yeah, there's nothing stuck in there. I bet it's just trashed. Going to order a new one soon and give it a shot. Still smokin.... Need to get her to a diesel shop to check on the...
Hey Guys,
Have looked through the forum and have found plenty of people with windows that have gotten stuck down, but nothing where they were stuck up. Working with an 89 Gran Safari.

Yup, definitely runs smoother with the addition of the 2 stroke. Though, could also be from burning off old fuel, not sure what was in the tank when I got it.
The two stroke seemed to help. I can give it a little more before the black smoke comes pouring out, but still need to be sure not to drop the pedal to the floor- or anywhere near it for that matter....

Welcome to the forum!
my god, it's beautiful.
Super old thread but the only other US resident I can find. You still have your patrol?

Welcome to the forum!
Yes, I'm comfortable with that.
Can you follow me around and translate, please?
Has a TD42, and agree with clappers, might need a turbo. I live at the base of the mountains in Utah, 4000 foot mountain passes are part of the daily drive.
Very hard to offend.
Need to get the fuel mixture sorted before that happens. Quite a bit of soot. As soon as that's in the clear, I'm on it.
It was more the garn part...
I don't even know what that means.
Oh my god, my last name means sandwich in Australia.
Welcome to the forum from the US!
I'm here to learn Australian too.
Kidding aside, there isn't exactly a local club for the patrol, so you guys are all I've got!
Got a few friends I'm looking forward to winching out, especially the one with the orange jeep. Orange!?
Thanks guys.
