Yeah, unfortunately the wife was right. It's the starter motor... *apparently* i'm not meant to drive it through puddles deep enough to cause the rear pod to flood...

My ute (2004 TD42 w/after market immobiliser) is being a PITA.
When i turn on the key, i get all the lights I expect (if the immobiliser's doing it's magic i don't get the glow plugs etc) - but...
I've got a pair for a ute (so fronts only, no rears!) for sale...

They are "Carling" rocker switches, also known sometimes as ARB switches.
I've used this lot before to get mine, although there's plenty out there!

On the CRD, that priming bulb is for your standard fuel filter (the TD42 filter housing has a pump on top) - i assume it's between the battery and the firewall (slightly towards the engine-side)?
Yes they do
I asked the question of them last year...
Needless to say, i'm still running manual.
For drug money like that, i'd rather spend a bit extra and go Duramax/Allison
I'd be worried about my supply quality if they can't even spell BRIDLE.....

although....
Have a look around for (half decent) non-nissan alloys nowadays - not many 16" rims going around. When i next change tires (which will be a while as mine are just new) I reckon i'm...
shit, does that mean that that i'm going to have to do even less work than normal to maintain the overall DoT coefficient?
Its gone from there but available here
Seeing as this was dug out for me by Google, I thought i'd update it with what I found...
$360 for the rope....

I'm not at home (so can't measure it), but I was laid flat out in my pod the other day and I had plenty of room (i'm 190 - or "not quite" 6'3").....
