So what happened to this interesting build!?!?!?!? The shit blew up and you went for a Toyota :P
I haven't seen many muddys or wide tires on 4wd in the outback, at least not with the locals. I got my car with skinny 235/85/16 Hercules Terra Trac and that has been a top tire. Not many uses them...

This was an awesome thread as it started and [photo to be added later] sounded great, Tony can you get back with your wisdom? :D
Anyone that can recommend a balancing place in Melb around Ringwood ???
Just don't get it mixed up with my White GU and drive off with the wrong bus, it seems like we are in the same neighbourhood ;) mine is though always dirty, dented in all four corners and has NATS...
Doing the swivel hub rebuild is a feel good task once completed :D and a good excuse to buy a lot of special tools, just ask my wife ;)

Hi Louie1 welcome aboard!!!
I think a bit more info on your bus is needed to give an answer, I have a Haynes manual and should be able to give you the different amounts of fluid you need. Once you get 25 posts apparently you...
Hi and Welcome, thanks for getting my attention to the ECUtalk, and GGRRRrrrrr I am so tired of the lack of options to communicate with my engine donk, good old reliable technique but not easy to do...
In my case it was the NATS that prohibited the car from starting, it cranked but didn't fire. If the light goes of as you insert the key and turns it that should not be the problem. I drilled the...
Welcome aboard, I think we all look for a bit of extra power and fuel economy in these busses :D like the sound from the 2.8 more smooth than the 4.2

I used to think it was a load of crap when they recommended changing brake fluid on especially new cars, with service intervals of 2 years or 40K and had the impression that it was just an excuse to...

Hey guys, how can an interesting thread like this die out and what about the keep me posted? Finally a really interesting problem and no solution, sucks big time :D
Did you run out of money,...
It would be nice if it was possible to give a contribution (money) and get to download manuals ;)
I am in the same boat right now and I am pretty sure it is the NATS that has demobilized the car. My light is flashing and when I insert either of my 3 keys it becomes solid red. Acording to the...
Man I am not sure if I told the hole story but I am up for an other epic adventure, and Manfred and I are not on good terms right now. If I had time I could dish up a few more happenings. You say...
Man a fellow 4.2 but non diesel, love the GQ should have saved the money and gone for the GQ. Happy trucking :)
Well what can I say, welcome and hopefully lot's of clever words come your way. I am getting better and slowly consider my self as a Patrol mechanic :) Like your rims are you interested in selling as...

How am I going to get my 25 posts done in a hurry? I am going to Perth on the 17 Dec and my car is so much trouble, I need some info and manuals ASAP. Right now my NATS is giving my greif and I can't...

I bought the Troll a while ago and used to love it like any other new romance :icon_bonk:we had our up and downs but always returned to the Garage (Limping sometimes). First big trip ended...
