If you don't use 4wd regularly its a good idea to engage the auto hubs in the manual position using your wheel brace but don't select 4wd. This will lubricate and rotate all the front drive...
How did you go with your clutch Jarrah, curious to know if fluid change fixed the problem.
Make sure your tyres are LT (light truck) rated as they are much tougher than non LT tyres. Not all 4x4 tyres are LT rated, including some All Terrain tyres.
