Took the GQ out to get a load of wood on a gnarly little track called Sands track which is in the Mohyu Timber reserve , because it's so rough and steep virtually no one gets there wood off it so...

Up the shed all morning trying to fix a problem with drivers side mirror , too much angle up and too much angle backwards so while I had the door card off I gave it some angle grinder surgery ....

Have read they have problems , this one was put into my daughters car and used for about a year then removed when she changed cars so it might be ok but not expecting much .

Drivers side door wouldn't open from the inside ,found to be a broken plastic guide clip which I've just tek screwed a plastic cable holder in its place .

New boost compensated injector pump ,old one wasn't boost compensated but can notice the difference and so I should for the price of it .

Picked up the GQ after three weeks and nearly five grand but on the plus side the power going up Taminick gap was amazing , now to start organising for the trip.

Beige or grey trim ? Give the guy some slack geez !

Sent the GQ away for injector pump reco, a service and check up and over to get it ready for the cape trip .
