If you are out in the scrub and something goes wrong, the tendancy is to make a quick decision as to how to fix it. I reckon the best PPE is a cuppa, think about outcomes before doing anything

My shorty tends to drain the battery if left unattended for a week or so - I believe it turns on the brake lights intermittantly.

exhaust jack is great - but be careful what it rubs up on - suggest using the floor mats as spacers
It's always best to go with the gear that has been tested - so - if not steer clear.
You still need to be careful - even with a recovery hitch - as the cross-member is not that strong without beefing up

Hi, the cross-member that the tow hitch is mounted on is not designed for that type of loading (even with a Heyman-reece you would need to strengthen it to use an appropriate tow fitting)
