my thort on the EGR I have blocked it off got better fuel economy and better tork I think from turbo spooling up a bit faster ps I have a larger turbo not a stock one

if you block the egr you will get a lot better fuel economy I am getting better fuel and a bit more power by doing this. on a 4.2 gu wagon

chadne have a look at the heater hoses tighten up and have a look at your motor oil if its milky on dip stick its a head gasket, hope this helps
