Oh and I guess it goes without saying that you will replace the timing belt and bearings. I assume you already knew that but just making sure
Depends how much money you want to spend. While its apart you could also look at getting the injectors serviced.

Did the same thing. Took the glowplugs out, wound it over, glowplugs back in and away she went. Havnt had any dramas with it but I didnt have any lights come on either. Hope it still lives.
Thats pretty cheap to get a cracked head fixed. Is that someone you know?
Did the same thing to my GU. Needless to say a snorkel was my next purchase.

Cheers Rob
Gday,
There seems to be plenty of handy hits and experienced people on here that can help with that zd30 of yours so if you have any dramas just chuck a thread up.

Hey mate
In my experience short wheel base vehicles in general can be excellent offroad vehicles however if your planning on travelling long distances short wheel base vehicles can be a bit rougher...

Hey guys, just started using the forum. Ive owned my patrol for about 6 months now with no issues. Just thought I would let you all know I'm a mechanic by trade so if you have any questions on stuff...
