You need more than just the display. It has a temperature probe in the front bumper and the compass uses a module in the dash as far as know. Th compass gets calibrated with the earths magnetic...
Mine is long enough to reach the oil. :-)

Also look at your rubber hoses. But the main culprit is the solenoid. They tend to stick if not used in a while.

wrap a plastic bag around your oil filter when you change filters. Oil wil drip in plastic bag and not on your lawn.
Use kitty litter (sand not silicone one) to soak up oil.

It was a very nice outing. Patrols in South Africa are scarce. Toyota is by far more popular, but I blame Nissan marketing for that.
Fitted mine in the cargo area. That is the best place for a 4.8 with ABS.
Transfer from the subtank to the main tank will only work once your main tank is on 3/4 mark.

Only the GL 4.8 and pickup have the bigger H260 diff (37 splines)
