Just finished replacing the 4 oil seals for the injector tubes in to the side of the head as they were leaking. All was good for a couple...

Count me in and I know of anther that wants them as well....

2004 is a split year for the GU.
Ours is March '04 and we replaced the injectors when we replaced the head and they were around the $165 mark. I think yours being October comes under the newer ones....

lets turn the table a bit.....
Ours is the 2004 GU MAnual and now has 240,000 kms on the clock AND tows a 2.5 tonne caravan, and no mods done to it.
We did replace the head in february this year,...

Yep, you are just waisting your time if you don'replace all 4 at the same time, as once the pressure starts to build up it will cause the older ones to leak and when they do, it is generally worse....

Got the same issue and have found 2 of the sleeves leaking, So mechanic doing all 4 today.
Make sure you change all 4 sleeves
We have not long replaced the head and thought these sleeves would have...
