Had a few jobs here and there in the early days, car detailer, labourer, bar work etc. Then did a stint in Sports Events Management at a Uni in Melbourne. TYhen moved back to QLD and was working...
Your carby could be cactus too. Mine had a problem of flooding and overfuelling and cutting out etc. just took it up to recarb and they said everything (float, secondaries etc) was sticking and...
From memory there is a knob/mixer that you can adjust for your fuel/LPG mix. You can try adjust 1/4 turn at a time. It is usually brass fitting, on a hose running into carbs. Not big on LPG sorry,...
It could be flooding, maybe needle and seat is leaking by or I think they have a auto choke an could be stuck on. It could be not getting fuel, maybe a blockage in carby or gas system is restricting...
Mate, I'm in Wurtulla, Sunshine Coast, QLD. Cheers Luke.
I'm down Caloundra too. Always keen to go out and play (work roster permitting...)
Most speedos are out wether they be brand new or 20 years old. The odo as you've seen and mentioned is more direct and accurate. Which is great if you watching and wanting to keep accurate measure of...
Welcome bud. I'll make some enquiries about the carby problem. Brothers a Mechanic in Dalby and i think from memory he had a similar problem.

Hello and welcome. Looks like there's heaps of patrol people floating around S/E QLD. Enjoy.
Welcome mate. I was like you, loyalties layed with Toyota for long time. But recently made the switch. Good times ahead.
Hi bloke, and welcome. It's great that there's such interest world wide. Should of made the switch years ago.
Headlight upgrade, dual batteries, good set of rock sliders, seat upgrades (i read somewhere the other day that VX seats bolt straight in)
Another good read with great info. Thanks.
Thanks to everyone involved in this thread. Great read, and some quality info.
Welcome mate. Good looking rig you have there.
Thanks for the welcome blokes. Hope I can add something valuable from time to time.
Cheers
Luke
A bit late i know, but they're selling for $50 on eBay.
Great place. Has everything for newbies to crazy insane people! Plus the camping is great too.
One of the best places in this fair land to camp. I can't get enough of this place.
Hey Ken, welcome. Just joined myself, already getting lots of use from the forum, it's great.
Thanks mate. I'll check these things out. As far as I know there's no alarm or timer on it.
Yeah all of the fuses have power to them. I had to replace the ENG CONTROL one the other day as even though it looked good, test light showed otherwise - plus engine wouldn't fire at the time....
Without sounding simple, is there specific earths for speedo/instrument cluster? Lots of wires and earths from what I can see. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
