Yes there was also a case where 2 snatch straps were joined by a "D" shackel and when 1 strap broke the "D" went through the back window and killed ther son. Just shows how things can go very wrong...
yes the tensioner and idler was replaced i saw the old units and was very close to destruction.
but still unsore how the pump could jump the belt?
Was running rough on start up due to 2 glow plugs...

hello again i have just done the compression test all 6 cylinders came up at 420psi??
so doesnt look like a head prob? where to check next?? please help could it be the fuel pump?

fuel solenoid im guessing thats one of the plugs on the pump as i dont think it has anything before this?
I made some at home using 2 pieces of angle iron for each leg works a treat and very low to the roof as to install the cage ontop
