The switch sounds the same as the reverse switch. The switch is open until it is pressed (placed in reverse) then it makes a circuit. I am after the reverse of that.

The switch sounds the same as the reverse switch. The switch is open until it is pressed (placed in reverse) then it makes a circuit. I am after the reverse of that.
I ordered in the reverse switch and it fit in the diff lock actuator perfectly however did not fix the issue as the switch is a normally open (no resistance/circuit when extended) switch and the diff...
G'day everyone,
I have had a few Diff lock issues with my 2015 Patrol and wanted to know if anyone has a part number for the diff lock indicator switch that is located on the diff lock actuator on...
That's the plan. Got a small trip coming up real soon (Easter/ANZAC break) and then a Gibb trip in June. Don't want any dramas while i'm away. Cheers for the help.
Doesn't sound like the noise is coming from the rear end and not sure what would make that type of noise in the rear end with the clutch in. The camper weighs approx 1500kgs.
MB thats my thoughts too but the noise doesn't happen at idle only when driving with the camper on. My thoughts are that the thrust bearing is slowing down slightly during shifts and has some damage...
G'day everyone,
I have an issue with what I think is my clutch when towing the camper. When up shifting gears there is a whirring noise that comes from the gearbox when the clutch is fully...
G'day mate, Could you add me to South Windsor, NSW please?
Awesome list. Very handy for the trip we are taking soon.
It's a diesel and manual. I have attached a pic as well. I have reconnected them as the shape of the hoses seem to match each other.
G'day everyone,
I was fixing up some things under the car today and noticed two hoses hanging down near the gearbox/transfer case crossmember. After checking out the area where they were I found two...
G'day Nisshead. Great looking Troll mate. How much did the Raslarr rear bar set you back? It looks really good on your rig.
I have one of the Diesel care fuel filters. It takes bugger all time to install and is cheap insurance for your engine.
Nice looking rig mate. Looks good with the rims.
Wired up the work lights this arvo. Bloody bright even during the day. You can't even look at them directly.:smiley_thumbs_up:
Got it from Opposite Lock in Rockdale, Sydney and its 50 Ltrs in capacity. It's a Boab tank made by Dolium. SE Battery Services, 120 Penola Rd are the stockists in Mt Gambier. They don't come with a...
I'll have to look into the welding of the bar and moving the wheel carriers in a bit. Here are the pics of the water tank setup. Still have to wire up the pump and test it.
Thanks MudRunnerTD. Will try that tomorrow.
To the left of the ciggy sockets ahi have the sub tank switch and the rear a/c switch. I have a GU 7 if that matters.
Tell me about it. Even the tail lights weren't working when I wired them up (manufacturing flaw). I only noticed the crack the other day when rectifying another issue with the bar. I don't have much...
Will take some pics tomorrow arvo and post them up. Has turned out well but I need to install the cargo barrier to support the baseboard so it doesn't break.
How do you remove the blanking panels for switches (the one under the a/c panel) without damaging them? Have tried today but got a little frustrated and gave up!
Installed some work lights today and fitted the centre caps for the rear wheels. Haven't wire the lights up fully yet. Will be working on that this week.
As promised, here are the pics of my Scangauge II setup. As I said it just obscures the odometer but I'm not too concerned with that when driving now I have the Scangauge to monitor the engine and...
I have the ScanGauge II and find it to be very useful. I have mine mounted just below the steering wheel column and it sits there nicely. I ran the control cable down the righthand side of the...
