I've just fitted this kit (from Mudski too) myself this week and I agree, chalk and cheese! It took a bit of fiddling around to get the right settings but my tooling around tonight I think has got it...
I've been thinking I'd save for the CC one but that ebay link has me thinking the other way now.
IT Support in the insurance industry
I'll be looking to fit an upgraded unit to mine following NADS and some serious money saving. I've checked mine and know it's leaking but just can't afford the upgrade for it yet.
I think I took this at Pineapple Flat a while back.

Can't wait to get back out there!
Finally bought and fitted a full length roof rack. No more laying the swag across the back seat :D
This would be a damn fine replacement for my 3.0ltr
I can't wait till it's on the market and we get to see videos on youtube of it running
Finally moved the gme radio from it's riveted position passenger side of centre console to the dash under my sony headunit. Much cleaner looking than before
Cheers again mate! :D Gonna look fine in there once I get it fitted up. I might have a look around online and see if I can find brackets for it, otherwise it's off to the mates place with a 6 pack as...
I think I can handle that ;-)
I'm only in Sydenham.
And nope, no kids :P
I'm in melb but I'm extremely tight on cash, and fabrication skills :P
Mind you, I haven't yet managed to fill the GU enough yet to warrant a barrier.
... Yet
Cheers guys,
Haven't tried a river beach before, I'll run it past the others and see what they think. Might be a little too close to civilization lol.
We've been down Howqua before, only stayed...
A mate and I are planning to go camping in the coming school holidays. Normally we head into the high country but I'm not too sure what tracks might be closed at the moment.

4x4 Obsession in Melton, VIC.
Great service, no rip offs and top notch advice
Gave the GU a good vacuum but found out that under the drivers seat one of the little rubber plugs in the body was sitting loose under the carpet and had let a whole lot of dust and water in. Took...
Got the beast back today, and I'll give a hearty shout out to Brett from 4x4 Obsession in Melton. Guy is a legend, a great bloke and knows his Nissans quite well indeed.
Tailshaft and Diff centre...
I think I'll put it on my list of things to do pretty soon assuming the diff ends up being the only issue.
Interesting, how often should it be changed? I have no idea when the previous owner changed fluids and i've only done 5k in it myself.
Well, took it to 4x4 Obsession and they've found the issue is actually the diff. Chipped teeth on the pinion apparently although I'm scratching my head thinking of how the fuck that could have...
A mate and I were considering at least pulling the box out and doing a box swap ourselves but without access to a garage at the moment and living on the opposite side of the city to him, It's gonna...
From memory when I was driving back from my last camping trip, when just rolling in neutral at any speed, up to and including 100 it would just lightly rattle away. I used Neutral a lot on that trip...
When decelerating/engine braking, there is an extremely loud rotational scraping noise, pulsates a bit and you can feel it through the whole car, and can hear it both in the car and bouncing off...
I've tossed up the second hand option too but I think I'd rather play it safe and get it either repaired or get a reco swap. This is all assuming it isn't just some small little issue in the end.
