I have detailed feedback from when I was there.
Basically 2" without engineer including all types of lift- tyres, body + suspension.
I tried 3"+35" tyres. Engineer's in Vic wanted...
Do a Coolant system pressure test & pull the glow plugs, listen for noise at each as this will tell you where the fault is.
Could be head gasket, Could be head Could be block.
Soundslike it could...
17000lb is overkill in my Opinion.
Look at warranty, current draw, park, mounting ability + quality etc.
As stated. You can have a surge tank that holds excess water for high, or sudden higher rpm. the other is a Overflow to supplement it.
Hot water takes more room than cold, So it will spit some out...
Filling / Priming the fitter is bad practice.
this can easily allow 'crap'into your pump.
Better pressurising fuel tank, cranking engine or simply using primer. I assume this works...
Agree with macca 86. shiny looks pretty.
I have white flares with rubber flexies to cover the tyre width on my GU IV. I have plenty of scratches from narrow tracks & they show up clearly every wash....
Raw fuel coming out I'd be looking at injectors, as well as the pump. Get ya injectors checked
Rubber would allow a fair bit of flex within the bush, nolothane are much tougher / stiffer and can wear more of the Mounting surface if not a press-fit type bush. Rubber may deteriorate quicker....
Mud flap has a distance from the ground. I think 300mm for off road vehicles
I'd screw some extra rubber to the side of the flap to please RTA
Mate, that is a wiper seal and not bearings.
You should have seals that enclose the wheel bearings that are rubber lipped seals.
I can't remember if the axle has an inner seal, but the oil / grease...
At the end of the day, people can only do so much for free mate.
An add here or there, if it brings in some $ then so be it.
I don't use Tappatalk as I am tight and don't want to pay for an app, I...
Good point Roofy.
If not, when you work on the door, make sure its open as removing the trim is VERY difficult in any car while the door is shut.
If the mechanism is missing / broken, then get what...
100W spotlights draw 8.33A each.
A total of 16.66A will pass through the power and earth side of the circuit and relay.
A 30A relay with one main input and 2 outputs would suffice.
Ensure you fuse...
Haven't done it but would consider sorting out the neutral start switch that prevents the engine from starting unless in N or P.
Short it out for the manual conversion, or connect the switch to the...
A guide to tyre wear
If you look along the tread line of the tyre (from the back to the front over the top of the tread.
Wear on both outer edges of an individual tyre, all the way around =...
Nice rig mate.
I would love to lift mine more than 2, but don't want to pay an engineer heaps of money.
Nice looking ride that. :-)
Cheers for the info.
Wanted to go last year but didn't make it. Maybe this year.
Nice indeed with the artic and the height.
A 2.8 with 37's would sound nice, but your rig would really be looking for it's bigger brother.
Step the diff ratio's up a little and it might be a...
Ebay would get you a cheap bar, or Gumtree classifieds.
Tow bar alone would be the cheapest option, but rear bars start somewhere about $1500 and go up from there.
Unless you make, or have one made...
I've seen aftermarket ones $1700 for intercooler, hoses and fan. Very expensive IMO but I have not seen dyno results to see if that sort of coin gives a suitable increase in power, decrease in fuel...
Sounds like a 1st gear issue.
How's the gearbox oil?
Does it have auto locking hubs? Maybe the hubs (auto or not) are causing issues at lower speeds. Although mine sounded different to what you...
Sell it and get a nice bar, that it compatible with your winch.
It'll be easier
Quite a few years ago now, but I got an awesome deal at Turbo Glide in Sydney / Woolongong for a 2 1/2" exhaust, turbo, injector clean and dyno. At the time it was the cheapest I could get it...
