Its a 4.5 on Petrol and Gas and those are the figures I get on Gas running around without a load.

Ok, I think I remember them all...
I bought my first car at the end of 1980...
1964 Ford Mk1 Cortina 4door,$90, it was painted with Mission Brown house paint, had 4 different coloured doors nick...
Mine was doing 300k on 80L of gas before tune-up and after 360k on 80L, I was happy with that but that equates to about 22lph :(
After that post it got me thinking how many cars have I had... so after writting them down and adding it up, if i haven't forgotten any, i've had 23 cars in 30yrs... still got 2 of them :)
1964 Mk1 Cortina, paid 90 bucks for it, it was painted Mission Brown house paint with the proverbial 6" brush. I called it Shake Rattle and Roll... coz thats what it did down the road. Had it for 3...
Nice tuff rig there mate.
How'd you go with the RWC? All good I hope.
Cheers, Hammer.
Maybe a 2" lift and the new tyres, don't think a 4" will let it get under cover parking like it enjoys now :)
Just finished reading the whole thread...
Very very very nice rig and great foters there.
Has given me some great ideas for my rig.
Cheers Hammer.
Yeah I've spent a couple of days going thru the posts on here and elsewhere on the net, it will either be ATZ'z or KL78's in 285/75 R16
Yeah standard on Gas... So there's plenty of room for improvements :)
Some ATZ 285/75 R16's in about 6 months, that's about what these have left in them.
I put it back when I was finished :p:p:p
I found a ROCK !!!
Woohoo...
Pretty hard to find with in minutes of Adelaide
Hey there's a green light on the dash when ya put it in 4wd... How about that, Mr Nissan thort of everythin' :)
Just a thought and don't know if it will work, but has anyone tried using one of those 5ltr garden sprayers?
Either removing the guts out of the spray nozzle or cutting it off all together...
...
I saw a muslim driving a van clearly labelled as carrying explosives,
luckily I managed to pull him over and knock the living crap out of him with my wheel brace before he committed his terrorist...
also from the same web site, it seems all the mods were done on the 2002 series change... so i'd be looking for one that has a manufacture date after 07/2002
Just read on "Patrol 4x4" forum that Nissan changed to Air Cooled Turbo's in July of 2002.
gotta love Google :)
Found this interesting read on the Nissan Patrol club SA web site. Pages 20 and 21 of their club magazine.
