Thanks for the input guys.
Spoke to the guys at MTQ Diesel in Dandenong South and they sell a 2.5" system. They reckon the outlet on the turbo is only 2.5" so a 3" exhaust is a waste. So many...
WOW ALRIGHT!!!
Couldn't agree more that you'd be lucky to own a Tambo. I got onto them after talking to a client who had traded in their Cub Camper for a Tambo Cooper. That in itself says a lot if...
Here's the camper trailer setup and hooked up to the back of the rig :D
Hey all,
Just after some recommendations/advice on a 3" exhaust system for the Patrol.
Only looked at a system from 4wd Systems so far. About $900 plus $50 delivery but don't know if anyone has...
That's the way NOT to do it. What did they think hanging onto the winch strap was going to do???
Yeah definitely will post some pics. Just gotta drag them off the camera.
If you're ever out east check out Stockton Beach in NSW.
Looks like he's got the high lift kit. On his pants :) lol
Purchased a Tambo Campers Cooper trailer a month or so ago and took it out for it's first run to Sheepyard Flats.
Can't speak highly enough of the quality of the trailer itself and Keith and...
Welcome to the club. Get on board and join in the fun.
Welcome, join in the fun.
Welcome. Gotta enjoy seeing a trusty Nissan dragging a Toyo outta the crap.
Welcome. Owned a Jackaroo for a short while myself and moved up to the 2000 model GU. Jackaroo served the purpose but was a bit gutless, was the 3l, I think, dual fuel. Sold it to the olds and they...
Welcome to the club. Newcomer myself.
How do these LED bars compare to standard spotties? I've seen them in mags and they put out some crazy light, but in real world applications what are they like to use?
I agree, I'm setup with a winch and recovery gear so going solo I should be able to get myself out of the poop most of the time.
Still feel like getting stuck you've lost. Not that it is a...
Looks good. Always hard to work out the good from the bad spots though.
I'm sure they are quite good, impact wise. I know polycabonate windows can be hit with a sledge hammer and just bounce back, I gather it's a similar material.
Gotta say though, they look pretty pox....
G'Day Craig. Welcome to the club, newcomer myself!
Thanks guys, gunna have to go get the GU dirty and take some photos. What a shame :)
That's some crazy technique they've got going on there. I love the way they are frantically bailing water out to keep it afloat. You'd bloody hope so by the looks of that river.
I go 4wding and really don't want to get stuck like that, but then you wonder if you don't get stuck like that is it really that challenging? Fine line!
Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the club, I feel right at home :)
Do the time James :) I joined last night to download the manuals myself but already can see that I'll be sticking around long after. I couldn't believe the number of replies to my intro in less than...
