Another vote for the 255/85R16's, love mine in KM2's. Would prefer Toyo M55's though..

I use it and feel it makes the donk quieter and smoother. Td42 with 180k.

Update - 255/85R16 on splits fitted fine but we're difficult to balance and a little vague under steering, not as stiff as when on a 7" rim. Ran them on splits for a few weeks but swapped them back...

I run 255/85R16 BFG KM2's on my GQ, on 16x7 -11mm steel wheels. With no flares the tyres protrude approx 30-40mm. No rubbing at all. 2" lift.

Love the tyres, but am looking to change rim offset to...

The one I bought from ebay is branded 'Shevron'. Perfect fit.

I think the rubber is moulded over metal, so I'm guessing the rubber cracks over time and water gets sucked in and rusts the metal. I tried removing mine for a closer look the other night but gave up...

Assuming your talking about the rubber things either side of the rear bumper 'step'? My rear RH is rusted below the rubber, so also want to replace it...
