Probably a quality unit you have . As above, this machine seems to be a el cheapo double din with a break out screen grafted into it.
Hence everything is finicky and gimmicky.
Mr MB best tips as always.
Never venture without paper maps. Always travel in the Patrol next to the first aid, grab bag and PLB.
I'm slowly rebuilding my hard copy maps after leaving /...
It's just a normal double din head unit. Mounted and wired the same way any ordinary head unit is. The front face has a ball-joint kind of attachment that the screen attaches to and swivels around to...

I recently fitted a Polaris head unit with a 10" stand-out touch screen. It's basically a frankensteined Android Tablet -come- car stereo.
Pros - Puts a very nice clear 10" screen in a much better...

Sounds like the car has been going into limp mode and then resetting back.
On a ZD30 most commonly caused by Boost issues and/or a dirty MAF sensor.
Fair chance you've had it and not known about it. Especially if youve been around people. So many families I know where 1 of out many in a household has avoided it where all around him/her were on...
Mine is 15-16, around town. 33 all terrains, 3" exhaust, big intercooler and it's tuned to run optimal maxed out at 14psi.
Big long freeway drives usage drops dramatically.
Really doesn't take that much Plassie if you think about it. I was surprised my self when I went over the scale. Bullbar, winch, alloy roof rack, 33" steelies and tyres x 5, and draws (roughly80kg)....
Glad it worked out mate.
My very first led flasher was a eBay special . And it worked but it flashed slower than factory.
As I visit Jaycar regularly, thought I'd try theirs and it was perfect.
You and around 90% of Patrols on the road mate...
Hope the kids get well quick AB & MB.
It's spreading everywhere. Tables have turned.
Last year's it was if you know anyone that's had it. Now it's anyone that hasn't had it.
I installed a Jaycar one.
Been in the car for years working flawlessly.

Weekend just gone, work canned so I hooked into it ... Finished the big Zetros truck and a smaller flexy Jeep. Missing parts for the Liebherr arrived too so I can now finish that!
Bad move...

You're saying at idle you're getting 13.8v and no flashing lights.
Also no flashing lights when slowed down ...
Just thinking out loud , but would the lights flash due to over voltage...
