I had to return a battery tray bought from Opposite Lock. It was covered in weld spatter, and when fitted, the base was twisted so the battery wobbled around. Took it back for a refund.
Got a...
I have been told on a few occasions that the genuine air filter is the way to go.
I have a standard 2009 GU 3.0 L, and get about 11L / 100km. It seems to be about the same around town and on the highway, I'm guessing because it is not very aerodynamic.
A regular check with a torque wrench would have to help.
I removed my indicators. I would prefer to check wheel nuts with a torque wrench regularly. The indicators just got in the way.
Sounds like pretty reasonable fuel consumption to me.
If you spend a lot in mods to get slight gains in economy, you'll have to drive round Australia more than once to recoop your costs.

Can't imagine how the battery will recover. Yendor is probably right.
Great info YNOT. Don't need it now but certainly great for future reference. Thanks
Great advice.
That's insane !

Safari say their snorkels are still made in Australia.
Don't think I've seen anything made in China that is much good.
Another alternative is ARE Cooling. Seems like they have done some serious testing with various configurations, including bigger bonnet scoops. Suggest a look at this website. It is very informative....
Gidday. Will be watching for the replies to your post, as I am looking at the same thing.
It seems like a good concept ie. no moving parts.
Hi Scotty. Sounds like you have the same setup as I do. I have run an engel for a couple of days with no problem.
It was recommended to me to use only Wet cell deep cycle batteries under the...
A missing or poor earth can cause all sorts of strange thing to happen. Good luck.
Good morning Bigrig. Rossco suggested you may have experience with Lokka auto lockers. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks Rossco.
Am I correct in thinking you were the one who fitted the Lokka auto locker some time ago? I am thinking about it myself for a 2009 GU wagon. Looks like it's not as easy to fit as they may suggest,...
Thanks for the welcome everyone. Andy
