Well thanks to this thread I grabbed a D27F.
It dropped straight in and the terminals were in the right spot.
It'll do me as a starter battery.

Dunno about GQs. My understanding is the atf is in my '00 GUtd42t due to the autohubs.
With thicker gear oil when cold it can result in the a bit of front drive shaft rotation even when in 2wd, due...
Twincab chop?
Prob easier than getting that dent out.
Miy 0042t had 73k km on it when I bought it in 03. Now 277k.
Rattles same as it always has.
That is a well written article.
Makes a very valid point.
I just posted it on the other forum.
It didn't rate a mention.
Nothing to see here folks
Fair enough mate.
It needs doing either way.
The coil hats can tear away or bend without bracing when loaded up.
After the first couple you'd prob tell the next customer to p1 ss off. lol
The worst bit is the driver's side tower. All the fuel lines that sit over the top of it limit room.
Have a go yourself....
I did it on the ground.
Took me all day.
A workshop with a hoist should be much quicker.
At least a couple of hours I guess. Possibly more. I am guessing sorry mate.
Nitto trail grapplers have a 3 ply sidewall and a 10 ply rating.
A heavy tyre with a stiff sidewall.
A 10 ply rating does not mean a 10 ply sidewall.
I'm not aware of any radial tyre with that...
That plate brace for utes is awesome.
I have a gu wagon which I installed the superior wagon specific brace in.
My understanding is that it is stronger than the boss brace.
What a bastard to fit...
If your marriage breaks down it will cost a shite load more than if the td does.
The td is a very reliable motor too, unlike many marriages.
Just saying ;)
I read that cr@p article in the paper today.
Not worried about it at all.
Just a thought bubble around some lies, damn lies and statistics.
It is explained by the fact that older vehicles are...
I'm hitting the farter.
Day shift tomorrow.
Not if it isn't capable.
Bicycle, tractor, farm equipment, horse and cart.
Slow vehicles, including bicycles are prohibited from using some freeways and tollways for that reason
I don't know the answer to that mate.
I wouldn't ride p1ssed anyway.
I did when I was young but with the benefit of age and experience, not anymore for the safety aspect.
I wouldn't be surprised...
I'd say you'd be breaking the law
http://classic.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/vic/consol_reg/rsrr2017208/s125.html
Unreasonably obstructing drivers or pedestrians
(1) A driver must not...
Look mate I have cycled off and on for 20 years.
Never ridden with anyone that entitled.
Most people I know go out of their way not to inconvenience traffic.
I have met some cracking people...
Really 30 minutes?
Where was that?
I have lived in Melbourne, Alice Springs, Darwin,Mildura Bendigo.
Visited every capital city in Australia.
I'm 49.
Never more than 30 seconds.
So how is that the fault of the cyclists, because some impatient moron can't wait for a few seconds.
Same as I got my m/cycle and multicombination licence from a weetbix packet.
The onus on the person overtaking anything is to do so safely.
Cry me a river because you get stuck behind a cyclist for...
Perhaps if you lack the judgement required to do so without placing anyone in danger you don't have the requisite skills to be in possession of a drivers licence.
You don't need to fully change...
Cr@p.
Minimum passing distance legislation has not been passed in Vic.
It is advisory only....
Sure.
He's not going to hurt anyone else though.
I'm more concerned about people who use mobile phones whilst driving.
Seems to be a growing problem.
I haven't ever done them.
A block of wood across the sump and a bottle jack?
I don't have an engine hoist.
Whilst shopping for them the sites mentioned that is is commonly the passenger side that breaks, presumably as it is under tension when accelerating.
