Can anyone tell me if I need to swap distributors on an RB30 when doing an EFI conversion,is there a difference between EFI and carby?

G'day folks, new to the forum and new to four wheel driving, just picked up a 91 GQ 3.0L RB30 for 2k.
Sitting on 35's with I think a 3" lift. Other than that it's pretty stock. Needs a little work...
