GU 4 3L TD from the book at Repco.

I had the same problem on my 06 GUIV 3.0L TD. Replaced the belt and the idler pulley and bearing (from repco, not the whole assy like Nissan sells) with no result. I then read the above and removed...

I drove all the way from Sydney to Darwin with Rattle and Hum stuck in the cassette deck in 1990. No fancy schmancy adapters back then! LOL

This is the ZD30 belt config out of the parts book at Repco. Might be handy for someone.

I got quoted $360 for a complete belt tensioner (including ram) from Nissan. They don't sell the pulley separately.

Thanks mate. I've seen those and thought I might get some. I just thought it was interesting the amount of flex these hubs can take without breaking.

Where the outer (free wheeling) hub meets the wheel hub (an almost straight line of clean metal underneath the wheel nuts), there appears to have been some movement causing the mud to pop off.
