I am in middle east it costed me about 150 USD from the dealer per sensor it comes factory painted to whatever color you want depending on the car's color. You can replace it yourself or any workshop...
Happened to me, just replaced the sensor most likely it just went bad, mine went bad on 6th year of ownership, try to locate which one went bad with unplugging get a refundable sensor.

It must be a mistake by the technician, it can't be fusty conditions we get extremly dusty weather here at least 80 days a year, never heard anyone complain about such a problem.
