Might try changing the fuel filter as first port of call and then if that fails try for the lift pump modification. Might end up being the long (and expensive) way around to replacing the pump but...

Well it has been with the mechanic for a week now. The pumps were swapped over, and still wouldn't fire back up. They had trouble getting it to time in correctly and had to take the whole front end...
Been a very long time since posting on here so a bit of an update. This time 2 years ago the head cracked, has been sitting at my dads since then with very little happening on it to get it running...
Blowing white smoke, hard to start, pressurising the cooling system until it is blowing it out the overflow tank. No oil in coolant or coolant in oil though luckily so hoping a cheap (in comparison)...
Been a while since getting the time to jump back on here. Boost figures were around 15-20 at WOT, 7-15 normal driving, cruise anywhere between 5-15 depending on speed (12-15psi at 110km/h).
New...
Managed to get the hose through at last! Thanks for the help guys, could not see that grommet in my frustrations yesterday. Adapter piece is in and fitted, hose has been run, just need to wire up the...
I have spent 4 hours on this 30 degree day here in SA in and under the car trying to find where I can put my boost line through the fire wall. It's an series3 GU with passenger airbag and ABS. Where...
Where did you have your boost line enter the cabin?
Just a small update as I have been flat out this time of year with family events, car show prep for my SS and just generally having no spare money for my Troll. Got the adapter part for the boost...
You are an absolute legend Threedogs!
Wouldn't have even known about these if you didn't chime in. Now to wait for pay day and order asap!
Do you know where you are plumbing your boost gauge into yet? I am looking at doing mine on my own soon but am used to petrol turbo and having spare ports on the intake manifold.
Still haven't gotten around to fitting pillar pod mounts or boost gauge yet. Should do that soon but too many birthdays and regos coming up this month. Need to find a nice easy spot to plumb the...
Been quite a while since I have updated this thread, nothing exciting going on just yet anyway. Put my turbo timer in, still not mounted exactly where I want it but needing to make a trip up to Burra...
Couldn't get the SCA kit to work, luckily I tested it before cutting into it's loom so returned it and got a 9500 winch instead
About to start this but wanting to test that these wires are getting the signals needed. Would a test light on the lock and unlock signal wires as I lock/unlock the car with key show positive power...
Bit of a thread dig here but when replacing the module did you remove the old unit completely or still need some of the wires connected to that particular unit? Hopefully attempting it this weekend
It's not that the alarm doesn't work, I just don't have the remotes for it. I was only given the standard Nissan remotes which do nothing. Do have a test light luckily (Done a few basic electrical...
So my GU I bought has central locking but doesn't work with the remote which I speculate is because it has an alarm system fitted under the dash but no separate remote for it and I think it is...
Very slow progress so far :( Parts are slowly starting to come in, the delay is getting my A pillar gauge mount. Have been told that they have a back log of orders on them but could be the eBay site...
Doesn't look like it has gone off road much if at all. Can't be totally sure of that but is very clean and tidy for k's. Probably done a lot of travelling with a family but is just a guess because of...
Bought my very first Patrol a couple weeks ago and thought I should keep a build log and what better place to do it than here where there is an abundance of information, guides and helpful members. I...
Looks awesome! I just picked up my Patrol as well last week. Same colour, motor, box and all. Love it so far and have a very similar list of mods I want to do haha. Interested in what this NADS thing...
Well I have picked up my Patrol! Love it so far and can't wait to start getting off road with it. First things first is to fit a boost gauge and do the EGR (think that's what it was) delete. Will be...
Hi all, another 4x4 newbie from SA that is looking at a Patrol. My pride and joy is a highly modified VE SS ute which I'm sure the police are dying to slap a yellow defect sticker on so have always...
