Original radiator had muck between the fins restricting airflow, new clutch fan centre and system flush has made heaps of difference.

I have the same problem in my NA TD42 GQ LWB. Need hand throttle to help moderate throttle overall, that way I can't let the throttle drop back too far to stall.
