I bought a cheap 35w HID kit and retrofitted it to my factory IPF spotlights for a little more brightness and a whiter light.
It all fit pretty easily, I just had to drill an extra hole in the back...
It should be $1,250 for the TD42 or $1,685 if you want braided lines with it.
I put the braided lines in with the hydraulic booster.
If you do go for the calipers, rotors, master cylinder and pads...
Rossco, I would cost up the TB48 calipers, rotors and master cylinder against the hydraulic brake booster from Mark's 4WD. Personally (and this is the way I decided to approach it) I would do the...

"The GQ ST & TI wagon's have trim heights of 565 front, and 530 on the rear."

I removed the acc socket in the rear cargo area and replaced it with a Narva amp meter. These single amp meters are on clearance from Repco for $16.
I had not used this socket once in the almost 3...

Pulling fuse #24 worked to reset the sub tank warning light. It also resets the odometer, which I was hoping to avoid, but it's certainly easier than removing the negative battery...
Removed the catch can drain hose that was just resting in the engine bayhttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2021/08/138.jpg

Cleaned out the washer bottle as it was stagnating. The thin lining of scum was being sprayed onto the windscreen and it did not smell good!
Washed the bottle and the lines out with vinegar and...
Good to see someone else running the flashlube catch can. A good bit of kit and compact size makes mounting easy [emoji106]
I just bought a couple of these kind a few weeks ago with the hope of cleaning up my wiring a bit.

Ah I see! Great written description, makes perfect sense. Bending with a vice and large hammer is how I've been doing smaller projects, but the cutting with hinged ends is a clever approach [emoji108]
How did you bend those sheets out of curiosity?
They look great, good job PeeBee [emoji106]
Yeh they have a decent spring and solid jaws.
Not to the Patrol, but made some jumper cables for it, as I didn't have a set.

Wired up this voltage display on the main battery. I'll do another one for the second battery when I have a chance.
I already have a dual voltage gauge on the...
Working my way through glueing some rubber rectangle to my roof rack clamps. After threedogs made the suggestion (thank you) I found this rubber at Bunnings and it fits perfectly....
Good one @MB, it's a simple thing to check and replace if needed [emoji106]
Yeh I had no idea about this potential issue either. I just opened up the air box to inspect the filter and give it a clean and saw some large black fragments in there. Turned over the lid and found...
Replaced the seal in my air box. There was only a small piece of the old seal left in the lid and a few shall pieces in the air box. Very hard and brittle....
I'll be listening to your results with interest as a tune is the next thing on my list.
Yeh, bike tube rubber would work too if you glued that on.
I just used some of this EPDM414 supersoft self adhesive tape 24mm X 6mm, which looked like the same stuff that was on there originally....
