I bought this TOPTUL mini bit ratchet set (GADW2701) from Audel tools in Dandenong South, that I've had my eye on for a while.
Good timing as the guy in store said he has been meaning to update the...
So useful. I picked it up from Supercheap.
I bought a Kincrome vice brake to bend smaller, thicker metal for brackets and the like.
This is some 3mm x 25mm mild steel, which is about it's thickness limit....

Thanks. This project was an exercise in learning how to bolt/screw timber on 3 axis, use some heavy duty tools and aim for precision!
Lots of fun and the workbench is very sturdy.
The top is just...
Yeh that's the same unit with dual ducts.
My dad bought it over 10 years ago to use with a Carbatec CTJ-350.
I used this setup to make a work bench a few months ago [emoji106]
What that machine...
No, it was no louder but did make a bit of a droning noise as it wasn't able to draw in the usually airflow.
It's a 2HP FM300 model.
I ended up getting a Ryobi 30L wet dry vac to use on the drop saw.
You'd definitely need something bigger for use with a thicknesser.
Those Carbatec units are great, but they have a 100mm hose. Perfect if your machine has the same size attachment.
I tried adding a reducer to a 50mm hose to connect it to my drop saw and the...
I'll be using it mostly for aluminium, so I'm pleased to hear that it'll do 3mm. That's great.
I might be able to do something with this that I was thinking I might need to get done on a larger...
Mine arrived today MudRunnerTD
Couldn't resist.
It's fair quality, I'd be unhappy if I paid full price, but $186 delivered isn't bad.
Have you folded anything...
Ooh. Got any details on that pan brake? Where from? How much?
If it's still advertised incorrectly you could raise it with ACCC as misleading you.
I bought this last month, just tried it out today and makes drilling straight holes an absolute joy!
Big gator drill guide.
Works on both flat and curved surfaces too....
MudRunnerTD that bolt pack actually looks like a bargain for $110!
Cuppa as someone who has never had air tools, can that blower run off a compressor (like you'd use for your tyres) or does it...
This Stanley ratcheting screw driver is great. I bought it because the hex sized screwdriver and Allen head bits fit into it. I wanted something that had greater reach and was easier to do up or undo...
Yeh for sure, they wouldn't be worth getting if you didn't already have a set of batteries from different power tools that you wanted to make use of.
Have you seen the power tool battery adaptors?
Probably useful if you have various tools from different manufacturers, but there are also 12v to 18v adaptors.
You could get a 10Ah Milwaukee battery...
I picked up a 12 piece set of blue-point ratchet spanners second hand for $150 which were still in great condition. I've found them so useful over the 15 years I've had them.
I've recently just...
