I think you're right, but I put em in anyway, with a nice new set of screws too. All good now.
No idea what you are talking about....
You probably already have considered this and I don't know your circumstances, but I reckon you want to carefully weigh up your Aux battery use before choosing a Yellow Top. Yes they are an...
Re-positioned the ATF cooler for better airflow. Now to find some steep hills to test it all out and decide whether or not I need to also fit a fan.
Thanks for that. Yeah, got to decide whether to use the little ARB portable jobbie or leave that alone as it is handy for a number of other things, and buy a dedicated one for this vehicle. If I...
Ian, any chance you could post a pic of the compressor mounting? I'm debating locations at the moment...
TD, I got them from Patrolapart, but I found this link searching Boss Coil Tower Braces.

Fitted up a set of Coil Tower Braces and replaced my Panhard Bushes to get rid of the dreaded 'shudder'.

This morning the truck started like a sick dog with a big puff of white smoke which kicked off a Post Trip assessment and maintenance day and unfortunately I found a few things.... Firstly, some...
Packed it and put the muddies on for a trip today into the Palmer River goldfields area, and out via the Mailman's Coach Road (aka Maytown Track!) with a mate in his Landrover Defender. He only has...
The roof lining actually just sits up against it in mine. The windscreen seals weren't touched. The sun visor screws and A-pillar hand grips hold it up along with the front interior light / overhead...
While I had the ceiling down I decided to relocate the Redarc BMS head unit to the overhead console. Routed the head unit cable up the B Pillar and across the roof.

Have you thought about chucking those drums for disc brakes while you are at it?
Good one Kallen. I always like my roof racks with mesh flooring so I can throw a load of timber up there too. I like the bit of chequer plate. It has come up a treat.
I wouldn't dare think that….
Might need extra noise suppressing dynamat and foam or whatever in the rear doors to go with it though.
Now there's an idea! Wonder if AB can make a bigger one….
Ran some extra wires into the roof console for upcoming install of a couple of red LED lights to save the night vision when the Nav wants another beer... Found I am missing a couple of rubber...
So that frame mounts to the rack and lets you angle it up and forward or up and to the rear, is that right? Nice work.
Is the frame a bought one or a custom job?
Yeah, lower the better or you are effectively reducing usable capacity of your battery by whatever your voltage drop is.
Finished reading one of Collyn Rivers' books on camper trailers and 12V wiring and immediately shortened my Fridge cable to bring the voltage drop back to an acceptable 0.11V. I was going to change...
Will pop a couple back in the other thread.
Finished rooting around with the overhead console and UHF install. Not a huge amount of storage in it, but they are certainly a good place to get the radio mounted up and out of the way.
Where there's a will there is a way - good one Macca! Sounds like a workable solution for that problem.
Just about finished installing a Redarc BMS1215 into the GU. Thanks Cuppa for the assistance too. Been a very satisfying learning curve. Hopefully it works with the slight modifications planned.
