Just checking if a catch can is effective without blocking the egr?

I have installed a catch can and after doing around 1300km there was about 300ml of oil in the catchcan drain pipe.

Righto guys. Replaced tensioner and belt. Noise still there..😬. Will the exhaust manifold leak only make a noise at a certain RPM? The noise only occurs at around 2000 rpm then stops at 3000.

I have placed an arrow where the nut was that was loose. Could only see the movement if you watched closely while someone moved the steering.

That's what I did. Pulled off and inspected. Nothing found apart from some rust. Greased up and replaced securing the nut.
