Does anyone know how to wire up the tacho and speedo in a gu which was a 2.8 now a 4.2 .
I'm using a GQ gearbox .

Start ya bastard got my gq tb42 started down the snowys in the cold morning . Wouldn't start without it
DIY is the way to go , mine will be a DIY kit .

I have some 17" alloy gu rims
I have a gq I'm wrecking should have most of those parts still .
The td42 clutch fits and has a stronger clamping force .
I had a similar issue in my gq when it's was 4.2 carby .
It was the points not opening , cleaned them with emery paper , which fixed it .

I'm putting a td42 into a gu which was a 2.8 . Need to know which wires/colour or plugs are for glow plugs and coolant temp . I'm assuming the wires for the alternator are on the passengers...
