I have a 96 gq ute brought stock n/a 2 years ago turboed it about 6 months ago and need a tune (sounds stupid I know) but it's only done about 4000 km since haven't had a chance to get it done very...

The hose sizes are the same it's just the bends that are different

Yer want to try and use the 4.2 radiator because it's a 1000 dollar pwr alloy one only 6 months old don't really want to discard it

Has any body put a tb45 in a gq neither the gu or gq bottom hoses fit can u get them form somewhere or do you just make one out of the two?

Putting a tb45 into my gq and it's being a bit suborn getting the spigot in been at it for a hour and a half with no luck got it so very close but just can't get it the last little bit any tips or...

And a computer

i have a xr6 turbo ute at home too so theres no need to twist my arm any more lol
im starting to lean towards a ls2 atm still do some research atm if i do go down that road ill be getting a new ls2...

Yer but been pretty keen to get a 4.8l and turbo it for a while so this is a pretty good reason just gotta way up witch ya to go

Any one know if the 4.8l will fit in a gq any info about it would be great

Not at all mate it was caused by a range of problems (I know this now..better late then never I spose) well this is what we have put in down to The throttle cable had some slack in it therefore not...

So yer wasn't a good trip had to drive 200km home (she made it the big girl) pulling up what felt like every 10 - 30 mins to close off or open the return fuel line a little bit to keep the fuel up...

Yer mate running coolant the gauge on the dash moves around abit in a short space of time on a reasonably flat road and I only but a new head on it last week just want To see what a new gauge reads

So is that a some what of a standed running temp? What would be the higher end of the scale as I don't mind a bit of right foot and I do a bit of towing.

Just want to know what temp in Celsius they should run at Got aftermarket gauge with a calibrated temp sender

Pretty much done the same thing yesterday but with the heater on gunna get a thermostat throw that in and start again
