i like elecy fans, they dont use engine power to run.

diesel pumps are different, they use the diesel to lube the pump so i would think the pump will burn out if used for petrol.

shimmed diff can work really nice but they dont stay tight for long if you give them a hard time.

yeah i agree with fourj, weld nut to the end of the stud is the best way to remove broken studs.

you shuold feel a big differance in temp between top and bottum radiator hoses if your thermostate doesnt open

i cut the bottum out of a water bottle and tape the top so it fitts snug in the radiator, fill it up with coolant and run engine until hot, ive found this to work.
