In Sydney there are a few places in Smithfield.. Or in wetherill park there is MTQ ENGINE SYSTEMS they are a Garret dealer
Mate I feel for you...I just went thru the same issue all in one month but my turbo went first, then the thermostat ceased causing it to overheat on the freeway then three weeks later cracked...
Here re-conditioning or regeneration is not too expensive but mine was stuffed so had to buy a new one...
Wow I want em.....I ended up putting 24v globe which is not bright but it stopped blowing....I'll start searching eBay are these a patrol item or a mockup
Got the new turbo installed Garret GT1752 ...damn for moment I thought it was pimped.....it goes extremely well for a 2.8...I was impressed.....I flushed the engine and the intercooler.....changed...
Radmobile thanks for offer I read the reply to late I ended up buying a new one from Garret, brand new $1200.. I must have rang every wrecker in the state no ones got one..The guys at central coast...
I just pulled it off its a M24 Garrett. Been trying to source one in NSW not very easy....

I have just blown the turbo seal and I'm burning oil now....
Does anyone know what replacment turbo model I can put on the 2.8 ...googling around gives me gt1752.. Is this correct..

One thing thou since putting the single mass and clutch in not sure if it's related but I start to hear a loud knock when I take my foot off the pedal at high speed 90+.....might be tail shaft or diff
Yendor...yes I do get the flicker I think it's the barn doors....well any way I got bigger problems just blew the seal on the turbo while heading up the F3 to Stockton... Need to find a new turbo...
