yeah, I think we all know about that one!
Ahhh, I'm with you, I thought you were meaning friends or family had watched but not warned or something.
Yeah, I know what you mean, a "preventable" accident is exactly that.... Something which...
Don't s'pose he could be bribed to do another one??
Been looking at these with envy for a while, but don't have access to the gear to do a clean one like that myself. Good work!
Hey Mate glad you're ok, and you've done an incredible job with the panel work, I saw the after pic before I saw the "before" pic, & hadnt even realized the door was a repair!!
Two things though,...
If you start looking into it, the ADR (not that I have made heads or tails out of the actual documents for this issue) is in place to do with the "Head Impact Zone" in an accident.
ie. the wording...
You just made my day, thats classic!
And sooooo true!
Sorry NissPat, but strictly speaking there are phrases in the VSI's & ADR's that mean in NSW you can be defected for them, not certain about the rest of the country.
From looking at the Patrol...
Has anyone actually been defected in a 4x4 for pillar mounted gauges?
Also, other defects anyone has been done for?
State where it happened would be interesting too
Hey Mate,
do you have any pictures of these on?
I'd be interested in using them as rock lights, but I don't really want to have to use lots of them, so if they gave a good spread, and say 6 could...
Some mates & I discuss this on a semi regular basis for trips to cape/kakadu etc
Be aware that lots of freight places will transport your vehicle, but it must be empty. ie. no camping gear, no bags...
Experience by my best mate from when we both had Rodeos, so much lighter vehicle.
We didn't like them. They handled well on road, though in our experience they wore out much quicker than other tyres...
Thanks!
Yeah, I noticed the blue one with the fitting, didn't realise you'd bought that separate.
Was that from ARB or pirtek etc?
Amazing!
Thanks for the response Hutchy.
is it useable in the guise you purchase it? - ie. if I don't get around to mounting and plumbing it immediately, is it possible to connect a hose & the...
Hutchy - I'm really thinking about getting one of those compressors, but a bit worried about the noise inside the cabin.
ie. for the moment it would just run direct to tyres etc, but in bad / cold...
for 18k you can choose from almost anything!
the 2.8 diesel wasn't for me, but don't discount them out of hand. There's a lot of really big advocates of them. Don't know what your area is like, but...
I've got a 1999 4.2td ST wagon.
Mine only has key central locking, not remote.
I'd also be interested to know if it might be hiding in there somewhere!!
Sorry, more a piggyback than an answer...
hey mate whats the guard under the front worth (body armour/replace the crappy plastic splash guard - don't know what to call it)
cheers,
Tim
Hey Kelvin,
do you have any prices for any of your bits'n'pieces? might be an idea to put some up in your first post if ya do. Few things i'm interested in, but more just browsing and getting an...
I can't wait to do mine. Just waiting for the right ones at the right price to come up on ebay!
It does seem weird that Nissan didn't make them work the first time around!
Bugger :-(
two of my best mates are down there right now, they're still having a lot of fun though from the infrequent contact I'm getting from them!
have you gone far enough on them to know whether you like them?
I just put (used - got an awesome price) BFG MT's on mine - I've only driven home from the tyre shop so far though
studying for the
