I wonder why these motors have two oil filters. My thought would be so you could get more kms between services, but this is only a guess.

I was wondering because the 4.2 inter cooled Td has two oil filters, do they need changing every service. I have been changing oil and filters every 7500kms, and the filter nearly cost $30 each.

Great web site, now need to work out width of rims as need 8 inch minimum for 305/70. They measure from rim to rim at 9.5 inches, but not sure if this is the right area to measure.

Have a 2006 4.2 td, 2 inch lift kit, aftermarket 16 inch csa alloy mags, not much of offset, so 305/70 should fit
