So, i started off with the easy stuff - the Panhard rod bushes. They looked ok from the ground, but I decided to remove the rod anyway, and sure enough they were pretty flogged out.

No, I don't.
Have recently started getting the death wobbles... can be pretty scary when you're doing 80-100 and the car starts jumping all over the road.
I've noticed it's not as bad when the shocks are at...
A few months ago I had a turbo fitted to my GQ, and it had the dyno tune done. All running fine.
Last week I decided to fit an intercooler, so I bough the HPD 450x300x76mm core and fitted it...
Yeah, so after going on a wild goose chase and getting the run around, I've given up on VASS engineering. Was prepared to drop around $3k to do it all but no one wants to take my money.
All I...
When you run a 4" lift with 35's, the little bottle jack you get as a standard doesn't even reach the car, even when it's fully extended haha :D
It depends more on your Dual Battery Isolator. I have the Red-Arc branded one and that closes at 13.5V and starts charging the spare. Your alternator should put out around 14.5V so even if you leave...
Yeah I was pretty relieved, was thinking it might be a $2000+ pump reco.
I had the same leak on mine. It was coming from the diamond shaped plate cover. It's very hard to get your hands in there as it's cluttered so I took it to mechanics. Turned out to be a simple O-ring...
I wouldn't mount it on the rear door either, already too much weight there.
If you have a roof rack, that's the ideal place, otherwise stick it under the rear seats.
BUMP!!
Any new info on this? Has anyone successfully managed to get 35's certified in Vic?
I'm looking at getting a cert for my 3" lift and 35's after my latest run-in with the Vic High Country...

This is how my beloved is spending Anzac Day weekend. Sorry guys.
This is a classic example of how a cheap broken rubber can ruin a guy's life... and I'm not talking about unplanned kids,...
So is this mainly a campout, or is there plans to drive some tracks during the weekend? I see Monday is the only mentioned day for driving.
Sounds good. Just checked my roster and I'm off that that week, so looks like I'll be joining in. Is there a thread where I can keep an eye for updates?
No worries AB totally understandable. I'll let you know once I confirm date/time.
I'm thinking of heading up this coming long weekend 11/12 March for a bit of a look, if anyone is keen to join?
Don't necessarily have to do Ellis or Cummins tracks... I'm happy to explore the...
When is the next trip?
Still at work for another couple of weeks, will have to do it once I'm back home.
I believe it was optional in the lower models. My DX definitely has never had one. But as always, I could be wrong... 50/50
I've just moved back to Melb and looking for a shop to fit some stuff for me. If you have any recommendations for a trusty, reliable, decently priced bloke please share. I'm located on south-east, so...
I haven't had any issues reconnecting after a muddy run in the bush. Just needs a bit of a wiggle and jiggle. Just remember to bring a matt to lay on while you do it, or you'll be wearing the mud on...
You're right TPC, sorry. Aussie brand more like it.
Great radios tho, it's pretty much on par with the Motorola ones we use at work (heavy industry), in terms of build quality.
I've got the harrop elocker in the front. You can definitely feel resistance while trying to turn (35" tyres), and it will increase your turning circle so making sharp turns is a bit harder.
But...
Do yourself a favour and get one of these..... http://www.auscb.com/apps/webstore/
Aussie made. Cheapest on the market, and probably the best. I picked one up couple of weeks ago and am loving it.
I might get in touch with him when I get back.
Did a similar track on the weekend, lots of big rocky sections with massive boulders in the middle. Was sitting on the rock sliders a few times. End...
