The hills mudksi is talking about though are crazy long and steep. Mine got to 110C on the same hill towing a 2T full size caravan.

That's a good amount, I wouldn't go a lot more than that. When you are doing a perfect controlled straight pull maybe but when does that ever happen?
Always underspool the winch drum for off centre...

Nah you're not. The new winch cables are unprotected. It's the old cable going through the 70A breaker, the large cable would have been used to prevent voltage drop rather than carry a large load.

Yep buttons on the bar are a must! I left them out and really regret it, running out the winch rope solo is a mission now. Need to find some motivation to add them in.

Yes under 0 load the iskra is a little slower, but once loaded up the iskra is actually faster. The warn motor actually struggles a bit under load. Wish I went with the iskra.

You could use a thin sheet of teflon which would be cool too. Easy to wipe down and doubles as a chopping board itself.
