I never only change a slave or a master. I will always do them as a pair. that way you dont end up chasing your tail replacing one then the other.
i built mine out of a fuel water seperator that i had sitting around. modified a few of the holes and put fine steel wool on the upper section (where the rocker cover pipe goes to) and it works a...
I have run into the same thing at another arb shop. I ended up just cutting him off 'mate, i've been doing this nearly 10 years i know what im doin. just give me a f%^&ing front locker' he still...
I had a patrol that was 24 volt very annoying to get electrical stuff for sometimes
Yeah that could be the issue. once the P/Steer fluid build pressure it goes away. might be time to adjust the steeringbox
For when you replace the plate, use some Vaseline to hold it into position.
there is a document that the rta use that has all of these factory measurements in it as in ride hight and track. I'll see if i can hunt it down
There is so much potential in the TD42 you just have to eliminate the limiting factors first
Looks good mate. I would probably look at getting it upholstered as i dont think RTA would like exposed ally with sharp corners in the cab near your head
I have been thinking of building up something that can be removed when not needed like a tray-on camper. see how I go when the cash starts to flow next year
I havent had any issues with with rx super 15w40 in my TD42T
Another thumbs up for the springs. top place friendly people run it and Emily is a lunatic in her crutrol going up beer oclock hill
cheers guys, when I pull my finger out i'll get some photos of the old girl up
Awesome stuff cheers to everyone involved
Hey mate pm sent
You dont get much better than the boys at united. They really know their stuff with 4.2s. But otherwise do as has been suggested.

With regards to the max fuel screw, its all dependant on your egts. If after doing the timing, boost compensator and winding the boost up abit (im talking stock turbo) u find u have high or low egts...
OH they arent factory either. Ive found some TD42T\i pumps with timing as low as .57
for a TD42T .72 - .78 and over depending on setup. can run alot more than that on a modded pump and turbo. TD42Ti .68-.70 this is a bit touch and go and should be done on a dyno or by someone who...
Yeah mate for sure. have only been for a wheel about 3 times since Jan. so bitumen is eating up my tires haha. I really want to get back out to the springs 4x4 park once im back.
Thanks Tony, I suppose I should give you a little background on my self, The first apprenticeship I started was 'Diesel fuel Injection Specialist' got bored and sick of sandblasting and rebuilding...
Yeah YNOT that is pretty much on the money. It is a very basic form of emissions control. everything else works the same as a TD42T fuel system, it just has a trim, it adjusts stuff all really and...
