So I can't use DOT5 on my rig because it only specifies DOT3? I was under the impression that the higher DOT rating, the better. What could go wrong if it pushed thru on using DOT3?

I did what you said. I dunno if I over did it though. I upgraded my exhaust system from the stock 2 inch to a 3 inch system. the engine revs more freely but the low end torque seems to have went away...
