The problem is i have now retired so time is not a problem. i grew up in the mountains as my father had timber mills so i know what end of a spanner to...

As i stated else ware i have a 2.8 motor in my patrol.
I am just wondering weather to spend much money on the motor or am i better off replacing it with another bigger type.it seems to be running OK...

I have a problem with a oil leak on my 2.8 diesel.
its not to bad but it is getting worse. it appears to be coming from the turbo itself, I have tightened up all the hoses and clamps I can see....
