The hinge off the replacement door was what was out. After changing it, the door aligns fine now
You can unbolt it inside the door next to the speaker hole. I replaced the hinge from the original door and that seems to have lifted it a little higher. Thanks
Backed into a tree and the spare tyre buckled the door
I can't see how I could get them off. I could not tell because the old door was bent
There is no play in the hinge, and it is not an adjustment of passenger side because I did not touch that and it aligns perfect. When the door is closed, there is perfect alignment between passenger...

I recently had to replace my drivers side rear barn door (the one with the wheel carrier) on my GQ SWB with one from a wrecker. When I go close the door, it feels like the door is a little...

Greetings all
I just made a set of shelves for my SWB GQ patrol. I need the back seat so this is only a short shelf. I have attached pictures and a basic parts list with the size of the pieces to...
The poor thing is 25 years old. Some things will wear.
Well done! I just ordered one. What a great forum!

I have a GQ SWB and the little round part that the bonnet support rod swivels around in is broken (I have attached an image). It is the part at the top of the engine bay that makes it...
Yes - You have a good point about reseating a tyre. All I am doing is pumping tyre.
I am not convinced a tank would be worth the effort. The tank behaves like the cistern in the toilet. In the toilet, a low flow rate of water goes into the cistern and when you press the button, you...
If you like that explanation, I have a circuit and explanation to give a warning if you left your lights on
